Head down to Port Seton this weekend to see the action at the first regatta of the 2012 season. Of all the regattas this possibly has the best opportunities for spectating, with all the action taking place within the confines of the harbour piers. Eleven St Ayles skiffs will be present: two each from Boatie Blest, North Berwick, Dunbar and Portobello will be joined by skiffs from Royal West (Greenock), Anstruther and South Queensferry. The skiffs are to be there by 10am on Saturday, with the annual Port Seton v Cockenzie race taking place before the regatta itself gets underway at 11am. On Sunday, after the ceilidh on Saturday night, racing will get underway at 11.30. Teas and Cakes available at the harbour, and a warm welcome and great atmosphere guaranteed. Come down and say hello.
