The Race Programme for North Berwick regatta has now been published and can be downloaded here: http://nbrowingclub.com/regatta-2012/regatta-2012-program.html
Cox Briefing is at 0900 and racing goes from 10am through to 4pm. The most popular race categories have been split into two races, with prizes being awarded on time.
The racing leaves from a line off North Berwick harbour, with crews racing round the island of Craigleith, before racing back to a line close the Platcock rocks and the old pier.
The Scottish Seabird Centre has two live stream cameras on Craigleith. They are normally trained on the local wildlife but on Saturday 1 September 2012 they will be directed to give views of crews racing their St Ayles skiffs as they approach and round Craigleith. The finish line is covered by the East Lothian Yacht Club weather cam (regular updates rather than live stream). Pictures from all three cameras can be found on this page of the North Berwick Rowing Club website. The intention is to post results as they happen.
There is a press report in the East Lothian Courier
