In a fantastic result Coigach have come second in the mixed category at London’s Great River Race. The race, featuring over 300 fixed seat boats, takes place of 22 miles of London’s River. This is a massive achievment from the North West crew, and the whole of Scottish Coastal Rowing will be proud of what they have done. It will also make a lot of rowers around the world aware of the St Ayles class. The results are not yet up on the Great River Race Website, and we wait to hear how the Portobello and North Berwick skiffs have done.
There are some great photos from Chris Perkins on the SCR Flickr Group .
