Two Hundred folk from Troon braved the downpours to look on proudly as the town double their fleet of St Ayles skiffs.  Their second community built skiff was named “Ailsa Lass” by local man Alex Mckenzie a member of the Row2Recovery team that rowed across the Atlantic earlier this year.

Troon’s other St Ayles, Marr Voyager, along with Carrick Coastal Rowing Club’s Carrick Maid welcomed the new skiff to the water.
