Tighnabruaich and the Kyles of Bute

There are some stretches of water that are clearly crying out for a coastal rowing club, and one such is the Kyles of Bute, the highly picturesque area between Argyle and the northern part of Isle of Bute.    The community of Tighnabruaich  now has a chance to scratch that itch, with a meeting planned this Thursday, 18 August 2011,  in the Kames Hotel.  Hopefully the outcome will be to press ahead with a community effort to build a St Ayles skiff over the darker months.
