We know all our members have one thing in common – they all enjoy rowing but we have found that our clubs have a diverse membership and some of these members are hugely creative. So to coach out the hidden talents in your club our next rowing competition will not take to the water but have you sitting at your desk with pen in hand. Burns night is fast approaching and to mark this we would like your club to put forward a poem reflecting an experience in coastal rowing.
It can be any type of poem ie Limmerick, Sonnet, lyric or narrative it is your choice on how you want to express your thoughts, it can be a big event you attended through to an expedition you club undertook. Whatever you decide please send your entries to publicity@scottishcoastalrowing.org by 22nd January and we will post up the winning poem on the 25th January.
