Portmahomack Coastal Rowing Club chose a beautiful day to celebrate the launch of their new skiff, Mingulay! After an in depth refurbishment and repaint to the Club colours, Auricula, their first boat, and Alness and Invergorden Coastal Rowing Club celebrated the inaugural row of Mingulay with an oar salute and a rendition of the Mingulay Boat Song led by Don Don from the shore. A lovely community club event in the sun. Their new boat increases the Club’s rowing capacity for their existing members and for new members too and will be used as a springboard to attract new members and increase community engagement.
